Creating commissioned piece is something I am new to, but they are something that I have LOVED working on! To get asked to create art by someone who just really likes your art style or is a fan of a previous piece you have created and wants a work created just for them by you is such a great feeling. My number one goal is to create work that makes people happy and I get told my work does that and people love my work enough to ask for specific pieces for me to make it is truly the best compliment and I really hope to create lots of commissoned art in the future.

This piece was inspired by my ‘Dazzle Garden’ collage/painting/embroidered piece, which was so fun to make, so of course I was excited to make this one! I am so happy with how it turned out and even more so am happy that the lovely Josie who I created this piece for loves it too. I wanted to share with you all some of the stages of the artwork through images I snapped along the way. This blog is all about seeing those behind the scenes photos or videos of a work being made as I know I love seeing that from any creator. So here are some shots of the different stages of the creation for you to enjoy!

Talk soon!
