AUSSIE SERIES // text based native embroidery hoops

So, I have been testing some new designs and I am happy to share them with you! Text has been something that I have never really included in my art practice and I was interested to incorporate in some way. Along with that, works that use negative space have always been captivating to me, really pulled me in and made me explore the work, so I wanted to play with that! Being Australian is a factor of myself that I have always been proud of, we are just so great! And whats even better about just being Australian is our slang! So I compiled a massive list of words and phrases that are so true blue aussie and I have started a series.

I incorporated my favourite natives in my designs and I have started off with three words, 'mate' 'g'day' and 'struth'. Keep an eye our for more to come! And if you want a certain word and to commission a piece please message me!
